Heritage Collection - Dreadnought AAA Grade (282-CB)
Engelmann Spruce, most well known for its excellent tone quality, is an amazingly strong, light and flexible wood and has exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio. It also has beautiful uniform colour, usually a cream to almost white.
AAA grade is a near perfect top, narrow even grain, and cross grain is very stiff.
282-CB was cut in 2013 at an estimated 10 years standing dead and has been stored indoors since. This well aged top is ready to be worked. See photos for reference of the actual top.
