Western Red Cedar is a light weight alternative to our Engelmann Spruce acoustic guitar tops and very stiff. It is preferred by some instrument makers for its stability and light weight. Western Cedar has a wide range of wood colours with red being the most common. Grain is straight with a coarse texture and moderate natural lustre.
